This yoga form helps prevent and heal (sports) injuries or physical complaints related to lifestyle and contributes to better sports performance when combined with other sports.
In Pralaya yoga you work really deep, reshaping your connective tissue (fascia) and making it more elastic so that your muscles, joints, internal organs get more space, more blood flow.
By using muscle antagonism (for example, psoas and gluteus maximus (your butt:)) and paying attention to alignment (even distribution of pressure across the joints) you can achieve deep release while also protecting your joints and ligaments from injury.
And the practice can be really spunky!
